The unique atmosphere of Botanica comes from the traditional and serene rural area and the surrounding nature. As a part of the former Plósz Castle’s estate, our park has diverse flora and fauna, with a lively community of birds. The interior of our two-level hotel also reflects this harmony and serenity. The unique, hand-made furniture, the carefully selected, exciting accessories, the fine materials and natural colours of the interior make the days spent here truly unforgettable.
BRIGHT, SPACIOUS ROOMS
Our spacious downstairs and upstairs spaces, our 200-m2 event hall and our big terrace are popular places for intimate conversations. Each of our rooms have their own distinct style and colours. Our guests say that there’s always some new detail they discover when they return to us. Our two downstairs double rooms (Boróka [Juniper] and Bodza [Elder]) are ideal for families with their shared entrance and hall. Upstairs, we have a comfortable lounge with a shared kitchenette, 8 rooms including 2 honeymoon suites (Mandula [Almond] and Cédrus [Cedar]). Our Herb House has three more rooms (Zsálya [Sage], Kamilla [Chamomile] and Menta [Mint]) in a separate building surrounded by fragrant herbs, with its own hot tub and a private garden.
RESTAURANT AND GASTRONOMY
Chef Tamás Munk and his team ensures that our degustation menu offers an unforgettable visual and culinary experience to our guests. We procure the ingredients of our breakfast and supper menus from local producers exclusively, seasoning them with the herbs grown in the fragrant garden of our Herb House. We offer a wide selection of Casino Mocca specialty coffees and premium loose-leaf teas. Our culinary specialties are key features of the family or company events and weddings held in our hotel too.
IN THE HEART OF DÁNSZENTMIKLÓS
Dánszentmiklós is a treasure located half an hour from the airport, and an hour from Budapest by car. This quiet community does not offer a long list of monuments to see, but that is what makes it perfect for visitors trying to escape their busy urban lives. The place developed its current form in the 19th century, when the old castles, manors and estates were renewed. Its natural, serene atmosphere makes it perfect for people who wish to relax in country environment in style. Our parks have giant, 150-year-old Austrian pine trees, oak trees and beautiful sycamore trees offering their branches to lovely singing birds.

Hotel Botanica provides an elegant environment, professional technical background and exciting culinary specialties for participants of leadership trainings and smaller company events. Our guests are accommodated in comfortable, bright rooms. And at the end of the day, they can join wine, cocktail and gin tastings and dinners organized by the hotel.

Our spacious, airy 200-m2 event hall can comfortably accommodate weddings with 70 guests, with professional organization; a ceremony held in the garden and a dinner served in our pleasant terrace offer a unique experience to couples and wedding guests alike. In the case of weddings, the entire Hotel Botanica is reserved for the young couple and the wedding guests exclusively, so our guests can celebrate in a truly intimate family environment. The colourful history of Botanica
Over the course of ity colourful history, Botanica’s building has been used as a pasta factory, a chocolate factory, and even as a special carpentry shop. In the early 2000s, original furniture was made here, and many old pieces could start a new life thanks to the work of our furniture restorers. We placed the furniture made here in a natural environment, in the living area, so the old spaces of Hotel Botanica served as a kind of show room for our customers. The materials and many of the accessories were collected by the creator of Botanica, Ágnes Bálint during her travels abroad. The design of the rooms is inspired by the building, the original pieces of furniture and special accessories found in it and the 150-year-old trees of the castle park, and also includes various county motives. That is how Hotel Botanica was born, the colourful history of which we now continue together with our guests.
AUTHENTICITY, WITH TRUE SPIRIT.
Ágnes Bálint, the founder and manager of Kéttemplom Gallery and Furniture Manufactory, had been creating country style interior design for 25 years when she got the idea for this special, rural accommodation, Hotel Botanica. She had brought back many special original pieces of furniture from her travels abroad, which could start a new life within the walls of Botanica along with other items she found in Hungary. The furniture we have in our rooms today remind us of the colourful history of Botanica, and the exciting potential it has. This special, country style, natural world is the masterpiece of Ágnes Bálint, and it is carried on by her children today in her spirit, with authenticity.
